๐ A Journey Toward Medicine โ Learning Through Real Experience
Meet Mr. Se Rithy,
a second-year General Medicine student at the University of Health Sciences who began thinking more seriously about his future after joining a study tour at Ken Clinic during Grade 12.
Before the visit, he believed that doctors mainly treated patients and prescribed medicine.
However, after hearing real experiences from healthcare professionals, he realized that medicine also requires responsibility, teamwork, communication, and the ability to make decisions in difficult situations.
Although becoming a doctor had been his dream since childhood, the study tour helped him better understand himself and strengthened his decision to pursue medicine.
Today, he continues studying toward his goal of becoming a surgical specialist in the future.
His story reminds us that real-world experiences can help students gain a clearer understanding of themselves and their future path.
